FAQ's
We’ve shared some of our most frequently asked questions to help you out.
What's the difference between the two plans?
The main difference is the Fully Managed plan includes the SEO Foundation, Premium Landing Pages, and extended care from our end to try to max out the value from the account. This plan also supports multiple accounts, and a larger Ad spend amount if needed.
What's the SEO Foundation?
It’s a best practice to invest in SEO while you are investing in paid online advertising. Since we will be experimenting with Keywords and Ad Text, now is a good time to utilize that momentum for SEO which would use similar keywords. This is a foundation to get you started with SEO. This is not a full blown SEO service, but if you’re comfortable generating your own text to be used in articles/posts then this is a great fit for you.
When will we see results?
Results can happen instantly – you could receive your first lead within a few minutes of your ads going live.
How should we measure success?
You should measure success by the long-term return on investment. You’ll want to consider the long-term value of a new customer – and ask yourself has the cost been worth it to gain that customer? For most businesses, the cost is worth it because you wouldn’t have had the opportunity to gain that customer through other channels. Most importantly – if you’re a services based business with high value projects then many times a single project pays for the cost of advertising many times over.
What position will my ads appear?
It really depends – and it can change at any second. The variables are competition, user search activity, and the advertising platform itself like Google. Generally, if you have the money to spend, then you can get into the first position for almost any term. It’s just a matter of how long that lasts.
When should we stop advertising?
You shouldn’t! Some businesses invest into advertising for many months before they land an ideal project. Advertising only works if you keep doing it – you have to spend money to make money. If you were to stop after 3 months, then you might miss out on that ideal project that was coming on the 4th month that pays for everything up to that point. The larger your projects/product, the longer you can afford to advertise without immediate gains. There are also seasonal considerations – the time to get started and maintain your advertising momentum is during the off-season.
What businesses do you manage advertising for?
We do not share client information given the nature of advertising. Many businesses rely on their online advertising – and for many it becomes their primary sales channel. While competition is good, we also don’t want to blindly create it. We are happy to discuss our own business as an example – we have been the leader for various keywords and have spent hundreds of thousands on advertising over the years.
How do you handle two clients advertising for the same search terms?
We will never take on another client in the same space without the other client’s permission. Though, we always suggest that the client allow it – competition is good! They will end up advertising in the same space and likely the same keywords anyways through another provider.
Additionally, multiple advertisers create stability for a keyword – without users searching for a keyword and without advertisers bidding on a keyword, that advertising opportunity can disappear. Ultimately, your internal sales process and experience will close the deal – not the keyword itself.
What's due today and is there a contract?
The Setup Fee, 1st month, and last month is due to get started.
For select clients, we can split up the initial setup fee into two payments – but no work will begin until the setup fee + the 1st month of service are both paid in full. Please contact us to see what we can offer.
Month to month, no long-term contract. Though, we typically suggest you stick with it for at least 6 months. Please see the refund and cancellation policy question below.
What is the refund & cancellation policy?
Given our month to month agreement (and flexible cancellation terms) we do not offer any type of refund on the initial setup fee or the monthly fee for any reason.
Specifically, no refund will be given even if service has not started yet – for example if you make payment (or a partial payment) then later change your mind or decide to use a different provider.
While our pricing is based around you sticking with the service, we understand if you would like cancel your service – no questions asked. You are able to cancel service up until the very last day of the current billing period. As long a payment for the next month has not been made yet, you are able to cancel and your automatic billing will be disabled.
